Preparation pathways for Djibouti
These are narrow, versioned workflows for immigration to this country. A released pack does not establish eligibility or authorize filing.
No destination preparation pathway is available for Djibouti.
You may still create a research-only matter and store private intake information. Wayfinder will not present official forms, document checklists, readiness, or filing steps as available for this destination until a pathway-specific pack is researched, tested, and approved.

This record identifies the government authority and current channel boundaries. It is independent from whether Wayfinder has released a preparation pathway.

Filing boundary
Research-only catalogue observed 2026-07-16; not legal advice or authority confirmation. It binds 56 core, 100 broader and six supplemental records into 156 unique URLs with only the first six core and broader URLs shared. Monitoring is not configured. No reviewed source provides a reusable public API or permission for unattended account creation, upload, submission, payment, status polling, decision collection or source monitoring. It activates no pathway, form pack, fee engine, representative filing, portal action, legal advice or authority action and authorizes no filing, payment or status automation. The eVisa site is a traveller-facing channel for tourism, business and transit only; each traveller needs a separate single-entry application. It is not a representative or service-account interface, and an eVisa does not guarantee admission. Work and study require a traditional visa through the competent embassy or consulate. The landing page says 3-5 business days while older FAQ guidance says 72 working hours and recommends at least one week; these are estimates, not an SLA. The current eVisa fee is unresolved: inactive legacy FAQ amounts and test-looking responses without reliable currency must not be used. Confirm amount, currency, payee, method, refund and receipt before payment. Law 40/2019 requires purpose-specific entry evidence and, after three consecutive months, a residence-card application. A card is limited to one year and cannot outlast the travel document. Visitor, student, health, tourism and personal-purpose categories do not authorize work. A foreign worker needs prior work authorization, must regularize stay within one month after arrival and remains employer- and role-specific; the employer must verify residence title and work authorization. The Labour Code supplies the current one-year renewable work-authorization rule. The older 1981 decree says up to two years; fail closed to the newer one-year statute and use the decree only where consistent. The statutory occupational tariff schedule states 200,000, 100,000 and 50,000 DJF, but the payable category, amount, currency, payee, method and receipt require current authority confirmation. The e-Government renewal page says to file within two months before expiry; no automated renewal authority was verified. Asylum may be requested directly from ONARS or through UNHCR. It requires personal appearance and a six-month renewable asylum-seeker attestation. The National Eligibility Commission (CNE) decides first instance; its rejection can proceed to the National Appeals Commission (CNR) and then the Administrative Tribunal. A refugee card is five-year renewable and functions as residence and work authorization; the asylum attestation is provisional. Narrative, vulnerability, evidence, interpretation, counsel, biometrics, interview, credibility, non-refoulement, return risk, notice and appeal are personal or trained-human stages. Never invent testimony, predict outcomes or auto-transmit protection data. Djibouti succeeded to the 1951 Refugee Convention and 1967 Protocol on 9 August 1977. It is not listed as a party to the 1954 Statelessness Convention in the reviewed UN record and is not listed in the HCCH Apostille Convention table updated 30 June 2026. Do not promise an apostille. The e-Government legalisation page authenticates signature, signatory capacity and seal, not content, and lists a 1,000 DJF stamp and one-day estimate; document, destination, translation, authority or mission chain, fee, timing and recipient acceptance remain uncertain until confirmed. The 2025 Digital Code controls identity, biometric, immigration, legal and protection data. Article 65 generally bars judicial or legally significant decisions based solely on automated processing, subject to safeguards including human intervention and contest rights. Processing may require declaration or authorization; file interconnection and cross-border transfers require purpose, security, adequacy or another lawful basis and, where required, Commission authorization. Electronic-signature recognition does not prove acceptance of third-party electronic filing. Reconcile Law 79/2004 nationality provisions with the 2018 Civil Code and later instruments before any nationality conclusion. Source health is date-bound: eVisa application, requirements, FAQ and contact pages were live, several excluded footer links returned 404, and the ILO NORMLEX supplemental record was current-indexed while a direct redirect probe was degraded. Treat conflict, stale text, missing date or form, unknown authority or unsupported digital path as a stop condition. Recheck law, authority, route, actor, account, location, source health, form, evidence, signature, originals, personal stages, fee, deadline, receipt and remedy. No automatic source watch, legal update, submission, payment, status polling, deadline calculation, eligibility scoring or decision automation is configured or authorized.
Representative participation
Route-specific. Djibouti e-Government describes a procuration as a mandate allowing a principal to appoint a representative to act in the principal's place; the Legalisation and Certification Service at Djibouti Prefecture requires original identity documents for both. That general civil service page does not establish representative filing, portal access or account authority for any immigration, work, asylum, nationality, court or consular route and does not replace any required signature, declaration, identity check, original, biometric, interview, hearing, border act, attendance, payment or collection. Verify the receiving authority's current acceptance, mandate scope, form, identity, legalisation, fee, channel and personal stages for the exact matter.

Rules for records from Djibouti
These rules are keyed to where a record was issued, residence or citizenship, and police-history facts. The destination pathway is stated on every pack.
No source-specific document rules are published for records from Djibouti.
This does not mean records from this country are accepted without review. The controlling destination checklist and official instructions still apply, and unsupported country-document scope remains held for source research.
