DESTINATION PREPARATION

Preparation pathways for Denmark

These are narrow, versioned workflows for immigration to this country. A released pack does not establish eligibility or authorize filing.

Not available

No destination preparation pathway is available for Denmark.

You may still create a research-only matter and store private intake information. Wayfinder will not present official forms, document checklists, readiness, or filing steps as available for this destination until a pathway-specific pack is researched, tested, and approved.

DESTINATION AUTHORITY

Official authority record

This record identifies the government authority and current channel boundaries. It is independent from whether Wayfinder has released a preparation pathway.

Governed authority release

Danish Immigration Service for asylum, family reunification and permanent residence; SIRI for work, study and EU residence; Foreign Affairs and missions for visas; Immigration Appeals Board and Refugee Appeals Board for named appeals

Active release 1; only the approved active release is public

Filing boundary

Research-only catalogue observed 2026-07-16; not legal advice, an eligibility decision, a completeness warranty, a filing instruction or authority confirmation. The 56 core sources and six disjoint supplemental sources identify official law records, authority guidance, forms, portals, treaty and court records, and current notices. Retsinformation consolidation pages must be reconciled with later amendments, commencement, transitional rules, EU law and the event date. Route results depend on nationality or status, purpose, sponsor or employer, family relationship, prior residence, consular district, document dates, translations or legalisation, fees, appointments and facts. Authority and channel splits are controlling. The Immigration Service handles asylum, much family reunification and permanent residence; SIRI handles work, study and EU residence; Foreign Affairs, missions, outsourcing partners and in limited locations another state handle named visa or residence intake; municipalities handle CPR registration; and separate boards or courts handle named remedies. New to Denmark is a public catalogue and route gateway, not a universal government endpoint. A route may require an online form, a printable form, a mission, a service centre, a contact form, Digital Post, secure email or a combination. My Page shows only supported cases and visa invitations. A status view, appointment, secure message, receipt, uploaded file or case-order ID is not filing or approval. No reviewed source provides a universal public API for application creation, document upload, submission, payment, status polling or decisions. No account credential, session, MitID, email login, CAPTCHA response or one-time code may be stored, shared or reused. A representative acts only within a current accepted mandate and cannot replace personal signatures, sworn declarations, passport or original-document presentation, biometrics, identity checks, interviews, asylum intention, attendance or collection where required. Fee creation or payment requires the lawful actor's informed approval and current official amount, exemption, currency, payee, method and receipt. Current facts are date-bound. The ordinary Pay Limit threshold reviewed for 2026 is DKK 552,000 and the Supplementary Pay Limit threshold is DKK 446,000. The Positive Lists effective 1 July 2026 contain 164 higher-education and 63 skilled-work titles. Verify the live route and occupation before use. EES was fully operational from 10 April 2026, but registration is not a visa, residence status or filing channel. ETIAS was planned for the last quarter of 2026 with no exact launch date announced; keep it unavailable until an official live-launch source confirms operation. The Ukraine Special Act route reviewed on 23 June 2026 states permits valid to 17 March 2027, and the 2025 extension notice describes automatic assessment for existing qualifying holders. A 25 June 2026 mobilisation-related item was only a proposed bill when reviewed; do not treat it as enacted without a controlling Retsinformation record and commencement. Citizenship guidance still describes a former-citizen declaration window ending 30 June 2026; that date has passed and the route must not be shown as open without newer authority confirmation. Territory must fail closed. Denmark-proper, Greenland and the Faroe Islands have distinct residence, work and visa rules even where Danish authorities or portals are shared. Never infer that a Denmark or Schengen form, fee, permit, visa or decision applies to either territory, or vice versa. The 20 March 2026 entry change for certain holders does not merge the underlying regimes. Before every use, recheck source health, current authority ownership, controlling text and effective date, route, actor, account, filing location, personal stages, form edition, language, signature, evidence age, originals or certified copies, translation, Apostille or other legalisation, fee, deadline, appointment, receipt, stay rights and remedy. Conflicts must fail closed. For example, reviewed New to Denmark technical guidance and MitID's non-citizen guidance differ in how they describe access without CPR; verify the exact self-service's current acceptance of a P-code-backed MitID. Stop on stale, missing or conflicting sources, ambiguity, an unknown event date or an unsupported digital path and escalate to the authority or qualified Danish counsel. Monitoring is not configured. This release creates no automatic source watch, change detection, legal update, form completion, operational pack, document upload, submission, payment, status polling, government messaging, deadline calculation, eligibility scoring, legal advice or authority action.

Representative participation

Route-specific. SIRI accepts a power of attorney allowing a representative to submit or withdraw an application, receive information, access documents and receive decisions, but the applicant may still have to appear personally, provide biometrics, complete identity checks, make declarations, sign, show originals or perform other personal acts. A Danish lawyer does not normally have to file written proof of authority with SIRI; other representatives generally do. Immigration Service confidentiality, appeal-board and court procedures have their own authority and proof rules. Representation does not transfer MitID, email accounts, passwords, one-time codes, payment authority or a government decision. Verify current professional standing, scope, conflicts, mandate, route, authority, actor, account, location, date, accepted evidence and personal stages before relying on representation.

Rules for records from Denmark

These rules are keyed to where a record was issued, residence or citizenship, and police-history facts. The destination pathway is stated on every pack.

Not published

No source-specific document rules are published for records from Denmark.

This does not mean records from this country are accepted without review. The controlling destination checklist and official instructions still apply, and unsupported country-document scope remains held for source research.
