Preparation pathways for Faroe Islands
These are narrow, versioned workflows for immigration to this country. A released pack does not establish eligibility or authorize filing.
No destination preparation pathway is available for Faroe Islands.
You may still create a research-only matter and store private intake information. Wayfinder will not present official forms, document checklists, readiness, or filing steps as available for this destination until a pathway-specific pack is researched, tested, and approved.

Filing boundary
Research-only catalogue observed 2026-07-17; not legal advice, eligibility, filing instruction or authority confirmation. It binds 56 core, 100 broader and 6 supplemental sources into 156 unique canonical HTTPS URLs; only the first six core and broader entries overlap, and supplemental is disjoint. Monitoring is not configured and monitoring coverage is manual. Any automated source update may snapshot an allowlisted public source and create a human-review draft only; it must never auto-publish law, rules, forms, fees, routes, status or capability or activate a form pack or operational capability. No credentials, MitID, Vangin or Samleikin session, CAPTCHA response, one-time code, signature, biometric, police or mission step, email, payment, filing, submission, transmission, portal action, polling, collection, representative verification, eligibility decision, legal advice or government action is activated. Under the current delegation order, Útlendingastovan decides specified residence and work matters from 1 September 2024, while cases already pending on that date remain with the Danish authority; visa, asylum, the Ukraine special route, deportation and citizenship remain Danish routes. A long-stay visa following a delegated residence grant is a narrow delegated exception from 1 July 2025. Since 1 January 2025, residence and work applications generally must be submitted personally to Útlendingastovan in Tórshavn; police submission is retained in Suðuroy, and re-entry remains a separate police route. The Faroe Islands are outside the EU and Schengen, but Faroese law selectively extends the Visa Code, VIS and EES; never state that Schengen rules are wholly irrelevant. A C-visa or D-visa alone does not authorize Faroese entry unless expressly valid for the Faroe Islands. Current Danish guidance dated 20 March 2026 creates a document-specific exception for qualifying third-country nationals holding the required physical residence card issued by Denmark or another qualifying EU or Schengen state; verify the physical document and current Danish Immigration Service rule before travel. The Faroese EU employment scheme is a conditional national permit scheme, not EU free movement; do not encode mutable employment, hours or unemployment triggers without current authoritative verification. Nordic status, nationality, document type and route must be assessed separately. Order 1096/2025 extends qualifying Ukraine special-act permits through 17 March 2027 by authority review; do not create or invite a user extension filing where the current rule provides automatic review. Order 666/2025 contains a section 9b residence-fee framework whose commencement requires a separate ministerial act; the current consolidated Aliens Act omits section 9b. Encode no ordinary residence amount, currency, payee, exemption, payment method or payment capability, and never reuse a Danish fee. A Danish mission or external service provider may impose separate route-specific charges that require current independent verification. The Faroese Data Protection Act and Dátueftirlitið control local personal-data processing. Útlendingastovan's 2021 privacy notice describes its pre-transfer role and is not a current complete controller, processor, retention or transfer map. Fail closed on passport, biometric, protection, family, health, criminal-record, financial and representative data until lawful basis, roles, access, security, retention, deletion, international transfers and DPIA requirements are approved. Visa, asylum, Ukraine, deportation, citizenship and delegated residence appeals have different authorities and remedies. Require the decision-maker, route, decision date, receipt date and exact decision letter; do not create a generic appeal deadline or suspensive-effect promise. A public form, email address, portal, authority register, directory, account page or statutory inter-authority data exchange proves neither current acceptance nor a reusable public submission, payment, status or standing API. Forms, signatures, passport checks, powers of attorney, biometrics, police, mission and in-person stages remain human-controlled. Treaty application must be proved territorially; Danish participation alone does not establish Faroese extension. Recheck consolidated law, commencement, amendment, repeal, territorial application, source health, authority, route, actor, account, mandate, form version, evidence, personal stages, fee, receipt, decision and remedy before action. Stop on stale, inaccessible, conflicting, proposal-only or guidance-only material, missing facts, unsupported access or requested authority action. This catalogue creates no operational, form-pack, submission, payment, transmission, monitoring, eligibility, decision, representative-filing or legal-advice capability.
Representative participation
Representation is route-, authority-, actor-, account-, standing-, mandate-, date-, source-health- and personal-stage-specific. Udlændingenævnet appeal guidance permits lawyer representation and may require a signed power of attorney for other representatives, but the decision letter and receiving authority control. The current appeal guidance recognizes only one representative for a case at a time. Útlendingastovan's power-of-attorney form is matter-specific; an invitation, active attorney membership, workspace role, firm affiliation, directory result or title is not a mandate. Advokatnøglen is a public discovery directory, not conclusive live proof of identity, practising status, absence of suspension or deposited licence, insurance, discipline, immigration competence, conflicts, engagement, mandate or receiving-authority acceptance. No conclusive live public lawyer-standing or mandate API was verified. Manually confirm identity, current qualification and standing, conflicts, engagement, exact scope, signed authority where required and authority acceptance before participation. The lawful account holder retains passwords, MitID, Vangin or Samleikin credentials, CAPTCHA responses, one-time codes, declarations, uploads, signatures, payment authorization and official correspondence. No lawyer, agent, employer, sponsor, family member, AI system or platform may replace a required applicant, employer, host or representative signature, passport or original inspection, biometric, police or diplomatic-mission appearance, interview, testimony, oath, consent, border decision, payment, receipt or collection stage. Forms and email, post and in-person channels are human workflows and do not create a reusable submission or status API. Confirm current law, authority, route, filing and receipt dates, actor, account, standing, mandate, form, evidence, translation, authentication, signature, personal stage, fee, deadline, receipt, decision and remedy before action.
