DESTINATION PREPARATION

Preparation pathways for Georgia

These are narrow, versioned workflows for immigration to this country. A released pack does not establish eligibility or authorize filing.

Not available

No destination preparation pathway is available for Georgia.

You may still create a research-only matter and store private intake information. Wayfinder will not present official forms, document checklists, readiness, or filing steps as available for this destination until a pathway-specific pack is researched, tested, and approved.

DESTINATION AUTHORITY

Official authority record

This record identifies the government authority and current channel boundaries. It is independent from whether Wayfinder has released a preparation pathway.

Governed authority release

PSDA for residence, citizenship and statelessness; MFA and consular posts for visas; MIA Migration Department and border authorities for protection, removal and admission; Employment Promotion Agency for right-to-work; courts for review

Active release 1; only the approved active release is public

Filing boundary

Research-only catalogue observed 2026-07-17; not legal advice or filing authority. Sources total 156: 56 core, 100 broader and 6 supplemental; core and broader share only their first six, and supplemental is disjoint. Monitoring is not configured; coverage is manual. Automated updates may snapshot allowlisted sources and create a human-review draft only; never auto-publish law, routes, forms, fees, status or capability. The Aliens Law lists amendment No. 1803 of 25 June 2026, published 29 June with transitional provisions; verify consolidation, commencement and transition before stating any threshold, right, document, deadline or channel. The International Protection record lists Law No. 864 of 26 June 2025, principal provisions effective 1 October 2025, and amendments through 25 June 2026, but publication=1 says consolidation is underway and is not the latest text. The 2016 law was invalidated. Pages and guidebooks retaining the former humanitarian-status framework, old authority names or appeal rules are stale; the Legal Aid asylum page is an access point only. Protection claims, testimony, credibility, exclusion, non-refoulement and return risk must never be invented, rewritten, scored, predicted or transmitted automatically. The Labour Migration Law and Ordinance No. 70 create a right-to-work regime from 1 March 2026 and were amended through 25 June and 9 July 2026. The 1 January 2027 transition is limited to labour immigrants actively registered on 1 March 2026. The law and an MFA notice identify labourmigration.moh.gov.ge, but direct anonymous retrieval failed; no interface, account, payment, filing, status or API capability is verified. Residence Ordinance No. 520 was amended 9 July 2026 and Statelessness Ordinance No. 523 on 6 July; their base English pages expose old editions unless the correct consolidation is selected. SDA guidance and the form are static candidates; reconcile route, actor, right-to-work dependency, evidence, threshold, fee and transition. Citizenship law requires 10 consecutive years for regular adult naturalisation, 5 years for a stateless person with status, and 5 years for the qualifying spouse route; older Commission guidebooks stating 5 or 2 years are stale. Citizenship-procedure and PSDA-fee current consolidations are paywalled; do not infer them from initial editions. Visa Ordinances 255, 256 and 280 list later consolidations, but Ordinance 280’s public English base is initial and conflicts with current Aliens Law on D5 value; build no visa matrix from initial bodies. The eVisa application describes a mandatory DuVerify step and additional USD 15, while its FAQ separately states USD 20 plus 2 percent; quarantine fees. Separately, the official eVisa portal's Crossing the Georgian Border page still publishes stale vaccination and 72-hour PCR language; encode no health or border rule from it. GeoConsul and the court case system say they are in test mode. No public filing, payment, decision, monitoring or reusable case-status API was verified. Never share or replay credentials, CAPTCHA, codes, signatures, payment data or sessions; automate no account action, appointment, payment, filing, transmission, authority contact, complaint or appeal. Personal Data Protection Law publication=9 is a final consolidation through 10 June 2026. Parliament records that the State Audit Office received the former Personal Data Protection Service mandate from 2 March; reconcile current supervisory functions and do not treat the old service site as current authority. Official material does not establish Wayfinder’s lawful basis, data roles, retention, transfer, security or DPIA compliance; minimise immigration, protection, biometric, health, criminal and family data and fail closed until approved. Forms and checklists are static candidates only. Fees, payment method, thresholds, legalisation, translation, originals, interviews, biometrics, signatures, attendance, border discretion and collection remain route- and date-specific and human-controlled. Venue, standing, suspension, deadlines, service and remedies follow the exact decision, law and notice; create no generic deadline or remedy. Supplemental treaty records confirm status only and create no domestic filing channel, form, fee or eligibility. Recheck current law, amendment, consolidation, route, actor, account, mandate, form, evidence, fee, decision, transition and remedy before action. Stop on stale, inaccessible, conflicting, paywalled-current, future-only, proposal-only or guidance-only material, missing facts, unsupported access or requested authority action. Wayfinder billing is per matter, not monthly; payment creates no representative authority or government-payment capability. This catalogue creates no operational workflow, form pack, monitoring, eligibility, decision, representative-filing, payment, portal-action, transmission, submission or legal-advice capability.

Representative participation

Representation is route-, authority-, actor-, account-, standing-, mandate-, date-, form-, decision- and personal-stage-specific. The Law on Lawyers describes a Georgian Bar member’s professional work as advice, representation, drafting and document submission, but it does not create a universal immigration, consular, labour, border or court filing right. The Aliens Law and Residence Ordinance permit residence applications through an authorised representative; the Citizenship Law permits applications directly or through an authorised representative; current international-protection law permits a lawyer or legal representative with appropriate power of attorney at specified stages. Each route still requires the exact authority, accepted mandate, form, evidence and applicant acts. The Bar registry is a verification input, not conclusive proof of identity, current practising status, immigration competence, conflicts, engagement, scope or receiving-authority acceptance. The Notary Chamber’s online power-of-attorney page is limited to stated users and witness conditions and creates no reusable platform or lawyer authority. Manually verify identity, Bar status, competence, conflicts, engagement, exact scope, signed or electronically granted authority, recipient and procedural acceptance. A title, invitation, workspace role, active attorney membership, scope record or per-matter payment proves no legal authority. The lawful account holder retains credentials, CAPTCHA, one-time codes, declarations, uploads, signatures, payment authorization, biometrics, interviews, testimony, originals and attendance. GeoConsul and the court case system state that they are in test mode; no open public representative workspace, filing, payment, decision or reusable case-status API was verified for PSDA, MFA, MIA, Employment Promotion Agency or courts. Do not automate portal action, status polling, appointment, payment, filing, submission, transmission, authority contact, complaint or appeal. Verify current law, route, actor, account, standing, mandate, form, evidence, fee, deadline, receipt, decision and remedy immediately before action. Wayfinder billing is per matter only and creates no representative standing or government-payment capability.

Rules for records from Georgia

These rules are keyed to where a record was issued, residence or citizenship, and police-history facts. The destination pathway is stated on every pack.

Not published

No source-specific document rules are published for records from Georgia.

This does not mean records from this country are accepted without review. The controlling destination checklist and official instructions still apply, and unsupported country-document scope remains held for source research.
